Green Beans with Garlic and Turmeric

Ingredients

• 500g green beans, trimmed
• 20g butter
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 red birds eye chilli, finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

 

Instructions

STEP 1
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil over high heat. Add beans, cook for 3 minutes or until just tender.

STEP 2
Drain and rinse under cold water. Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic, chilli and turmeric. Cook, stirring for 1 minute or until fragrant.

STEP 3
Add beans, toss and coat. Cook, stirring for 1 minute or until heated through and serve.
